CRISP is established under Indo-German Cooperation agreement as an autonomous organisation of the Dept. of Technical Education and Skill Development, Govt. of M.P. INTRODUCTION OF COURSE

Today, computer networks are the core of modern communic ation. This boom in communications wouldnot have been possible with out the progressively advancing computer network. The expansion of industries is mirrored by growth in the numbers and types of people using networks. Communic ation and computer networking thus play a vital role in all spheres, generating ongoing demand for networking professionals. Knowledge about Computer networks and the technologies that make communication between networked computers possible, is inevitably the need of the hour; computer professionals are expected to be compe tent in basic networking concepts, minor trouble shooting and configuration of server roles. Considering this, CRISP has created state-of-the-art infrastructure and offers this course on Computer Networking, which enables the participants to understand the various types of networks and their installation, preparing network cables using ISO standards, tools and equipments required to build a network, managing a Local Area Network (LAN), server operating system installation and configuring its roles. The course aims at simplified learning while catering to the industrial requirements for computer networking and will be beneficial for persons who opt for taking up Computer Networking as a profession.
